What’s the role about?

As a Production Assistant you will be supporting the production of shoots, including the planning and execution of all samples between office and studio functions. Reporting into our Studio Producer, you will work closely with the Studio and Creative team to ensure that samples are ready for photo shoots.

This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Who you are

  • Previous experience within retail or handling fashion products is desirable, but not essential.
  • Possess a strong interest in the fashion industry and working within a Studio environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office. Additional software knowledge would be advantageous.
  • High attention to detail, time management and organisation skills.
  • A real ‘doer’ with the energy and drive to make a positive impact as a team player.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborating closely with our Menswear & Womenswear teams, to ensure samples are tracked, received and returned.
  • Working with the studio team to ensure items are ready to be shot by creating daily studio workflows and pulling the rail together. Tracking this for the wider teams to see, when items have been shot.
  • Communicate across buying, merchandising and the studio for correct alignment of samples and group handovers.
  • Tracking samples received and chasing samples that are missing, as well as reporting any damages and stock write off.
  • Wardrobe Management, making sure that samples stored correctly in the studio wardrobe and returned as requested.
  • Packaging, labelling and arranging couriers to transport samples.
  • Create a weekly studio report for senior leadership outlining the product shoot status. Ensuring that any reports used by the wider business are also updated.
