What’s the role about?

We are looking for a Merchandising Analyst, to support our Menswear Merchandising team by building, maintaining and automating key reports to streamline the Trading, Buying and Planning processes for the department. This role will be working alongside our Branch Merchandising, Partner Merchandising and US team to provide analysis to elevate product selection and planning for each channel.

Who you are

  • Work experience within retail merchandising analytics is desirable.
  • Excellent administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Well organised with time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship builder and team player.

What you’ll be doing

  • Utilise reporting and provide key insights to support decision making, as well as manage data streams and the maintenance databases within Reiss systems.
  • Set up and maintain key reports for Product Merchandising and other product teams. (Department trade and Product Attribute reports, Buy selection packs, WSSIs and Lineflows).
  • Provide insights from the reports to help drive better trading and buying decisions for the team and work cross departmentally to ensure data entry is standardised, accurate and maintained.
  • Work with Production, Shipping Partners and Product Merchandisers to deliver weekly product launch target, on time / early delivery & shipment method analysis. Collaborate with Production team to provide regular updates on the bought to date position for the Division.
  • Work closely with the Womenswear Analyst to ensure standardisation across the Divisions.
  • Conceptualise new reports, tools and produce ad hoc analysis using historical data.
  • Liaise with all departments to understand pain points and knowledge gaps in current processes to deliver new dynamic reporting.
